History making flute player Althea Rene, was the first flautist to reach the number one spot on a Billboard chart. Drawing music inspiration from her father (one of Motown's original Funk Brothers), Dezie McCullers, Althea has landed on the Top 20 charts five times. In 2018, she released a book too - titled "Becoming Chocolate Barbie." Althea just released her latest album - Flawsome, to critical reviews. Multi-award winning program director Ray White, spends some time with Althea backstage and shares the highlights of that interview.
